Common Questions
***********************************************
* Is it for beginners, intermediate's or advanced DIY'ers?
If you haven't purchased one of my beginners DIY books or downloads you should do that first, as this might end up being a bit over your head if you are not familiar with the basics. It is tailored more towards a beginner - intermediate though. If you aren't familiar with what a capacitor, resistor, or how to solder then you will want to purchase either the beginners "How to build effects" or "How to modify effects" book first.
* What all is included on the CD?
- You get videos that show how to work on your amp safely
- Tips on modifying the amp
- How to remove the circuitboard from the chassis
- Complete walkthrough of the circuit
- Details on what parts will be good ones to change, options as to what you can change them to and what the change will do tonally.
- Pdf version of the safety guide as well as the schematic and circuitboard layout (layout not available on some amps), that way you can print it out and refer to it while working on your amp.
- I'll show you how to turn your amp into a totally different sounding amp if you'd like...For example: Vox/Fender Twin/Marshall/Bogner/Mesa/etc.
* What format are the videos in?
